The following projects have been identified by Bioforest because of the potential they have to offer environmental services at a national and international level. To move forward with these projects, financial resources are needed to complete the feasibility studies.


The RCAS REDD project looks for the conservation and sustainable management of the Ashaninka Communal Reserve (RCAS) with an area around 184 000 hectares. The RCAS REDD Project also promotes activities that replace unsustainable practices in the buffer zone (communal territories), sharing with the state the responsibility for the management of the area.
